Additional Features- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Processor
The performance of the
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X is consistently excellent across various applications, particularly excelling in multi-threaded tasks. Its single-core performance has also seen a notable improvement over the older Zen 2 architecture.
While the internal structure of the processor remains largely unchanged, the CCX structure has been updated from Zen 2, now featuring up to 8 CPU cores per CCX. This allows each core to access the entire 32MB L3 cache.

The CCX modules are interconnected via the same I/O die used in Zen 2. According to AMD, the Infinity Fabric can now reach clock rates of up to 2 GHz, supporting RAM speeds of 4000 MHz without performance loss.
AMD continues to use TSMC for the 7nm production of the CPU cores, with the I/O die produced at 12nm by Global Foundries.
In gaming, the
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Processor impresses with its significantly improved IPC, outperforming Intel in many cases. The processor is well-suited for future gaming demands, including simultaneous streaming, making it an excellent choice for gamers.
